The Mystical Land of Fairy Core

Ever since I was a little girl fairies have always held a special place in my heart (besides mermaids). And fun fact, as of recently I have discovered that my name Taneya, means ‘fairy queen’ which is the most magnificent thing that has ever fallen upon me. This topic only seems fitting to me and my name so let's look into the fairy core aesthetic.

Fairy core is almost everywhere I look on my social media. I keep seeing pretty fairies that give me mystical vibrations that everyone should experience. Over the past couple of months my social media feed has been flooded with many different mystical interpretations of the aesthetic and just how magical it can be.

Fairy core, also known as fairy wave, is an aesthetic based on the theme of magic, pastels, nature, the season of spring, butterflies, forests, gentle animals, such as deer, bunnies, kittens, and frogs.

The visual aesthetics of fairy core consists of swamps, ponds, trees, fields of flowers, mushrooms, mushroom homes, fields of flowers and grass, beautiful gardens, fairy rings, garden pathways overgrown with grass and flowers, picnics, picnic baskets, and baskets of fruit, and jars of jam.

Throughout the past year many trends have made an appearance and many aesthetics have made their way to the mainstream media. From the many different ranging aesthetics, from grunge, indie, streetwear, Y2K, and so forth. However, fairy core has made its way to popularity and has everyone adopting the aesthetic into their wardrobe and everyday style.

The fairy core style, which consist of soft, pastel colors, flowy skirts, sheer and lace fabrics, glowing makeup, dresses, such as flowy dresses or ruffled dresses,open toe shoes, closed toe shoes like Mary Janes, or no shoes at all, dainty jewelry, or jewelry like opal rings, and crystal rings and necklaces. To add on, ribbons and bows. By way of example, ribbons and bows can be worn in your hair, such as hairstyles like messy buns, and loose braids.

However, each fairy has their own unique style and personality so you can try and match up your personality to whichever mystical fairy you would want to be.

As you may not know there are many different types of fairies and each kind has their own personality trait and style.

You can be an earth fairy, someone who adores and loves nature, animals, and mystical creatures. Someone who favors earth tone clothing and spending time in her garden.

You can be a water fairy, someone who enjoys all things related to water like rivers and ponds.

You can be a fire fairy, someone who is passionate about what she or he loves. In addition to loving the heat.

You can be an air fairy, someone who thrives off being in their own space with the wind brushing by consumed by their good thoughts and dreams.

So come along and explore the mystical land of magic, beauty, and kind hearted natures of fairies and choose which fairy you’d like to be.
