Blumarine is again reigning over the early 2000s, Y2K movement with its signature gaudy, baddie inspired fashion takes for its latest resort 2023 showcase. Blumarine sticks to their house codes + a theme which in their case is y2k fashion which they do very very well at. Y2K has become Blumarine's core for the brand as it continuously continues this theme of y2k whilst not taking the revival of the y2k movement but instead creating their own vision of it. I'm not at all 'bored' or 'tired' with blumarine's constant interpretation of the style of the past as I think it fits the brand and their persona perfectly. Nicola continues to show each collection that his creations for blumarine are in fact the blueprint for many other designers out there now. He continues to innovate even more with each collection which i believe truly shows that consistency with a brand such as Blumarine really works well and it's ultimately a way for designers to showcase just how much they can innovate within their own designs without feeling boring or overly repetitive.
